Gene Moore

He was a baseball prodigy. At the age of fifteen, Gene Moore was a boy, playing like a man, in a game where men, play like boys.

Headed for baseball stardom with the Brooklyn Dodgers, his destiny was interrupted by
Pearl Harbor.
His life... and
maybe our
national
pastime...
would be
forever altered.

CNN, Playing with the Enemy and Chicken Soup!
April 6th 2008

Two exciting events have occurred in the life of Playing with the Enemy. First of all, I was interviewed on CNN while in Atlanta and that interview is now posted on our web site under “Media” http://www.playingwiththeenemy.com/media.htm. So please take a look. Also, as you may or may not know, I was selected as a contributing author for the newly released book, Chicken Soup for the Father & Son Soul. You can find The Last Game beginning on page 158 in this newly released book.

The book tour is going very well, although exhausting. I am home for a day and early tomorrow in the AM, I leave for San Francisco and several events in the greater Bay area. Please go to our “Events” page http://www.playingwiththeenemy.com/events.htm to find the event closest to you. I would love to meet you, so please try to come!

I am beginning the preparation needed before planting my garden this morning so when I return from the tour I can begin. I am excited and looking forward to the entire process.

More to come...
