Gene Moore

He was a baseball prodigy. At the age of fifteen, Gene Moore was a boy, playing like a man, in a game where men, play like boys.

Headed for baseball stardom with the Brooklyn Dodgers, his destiny was interrupted by
Pearl Harbor.
His life... and
maybe our
national
pastime...
would be
forever altered.

Your father...
Sunday, May 20th 2007

I am always sentimental about both Mothers and Fathers Day. Both my parents are now gone and the days celebrating your parents is a reminder they are no longer here. I miss them and am eternally grateful for the example they set and the sacrifices they made for me and my brother and sisters.

Mothers Day has just passed and Fathers Day is on the horizon. Depending upon the filming schedule and barring unforeseen circumstances, there is a tentative plan to release the film version of Playing with the Enemy Fathers Day weekend 08. For my family, this would be an exciting opportunity to celebrate the lives of Gene and Judy Moore. Nothing is set in stone, but this is an option that is being discussed and one that would be especially exciting for me.

With Fathers Day coming up, I hope you will keep a signed limited edition or first edition copy of Playing with the Enemy in mind as a potential Fathers Day present. You can order signed copies of both at www.playingwiththeenemy.com or buy unsigned copies at any bookstores or from any online bookseller.

As I have shared with you before, being a first time author who has written a story about a person no one has ever heard of, I need all the help I can get. I would be very grateful if you would recommend a copy of Playing with the Enemy as a Fathers Day gift to your friends, relatives and coworkers. If they are like me, I always found it difficult to find that special gift, so please let them know about this book as a Fathers Day option.

Warmest Regards,

Gary
