Gene Moore

He was a baseball prodigy. At the age of fifteen, Gene Moore was a boy, playing like a man, in a game where men, play like boys.

Headed for baseball stardom with the Brooklyn Dodgers, his destiny was interrupted by
Pearl Harbor.
His life... and
maybe our
national
pastime...
would be
forever altered.

Thank you Iowa!
by Gary Moore
Friday, 3 November 2006

Last weekend Arlene and I had the incredible pleasure of attending three book signings in Iowa. Des Moines, Waterloo and Mason City were the sites of three great events, with Mason City being "standing room only!" Thank you to all who attended.

Next week we are at Barnes & Noble in Nashville on the 7th, Borders in Pasadena CA on the 10th and Borders in Brea, CA on the 11th. Hope you can join us!

If you have attended one of our events or book signings anywhere along the way, please check for your picture at this site under "Event Photo's!"

Thank you Iowa! Tennessee and California, here we come!

How has Playing with the Enemy touched you? I would love to hear from you.
